Help, it's cold in here!
2000 F-250 psd. Fans running, but no air comes out of vent after truck has run for a while. Works fine when cold. The vac. operated door for the floor vents is working I saw while standing on my head in the floorboard. Is there another door that I cannot see? Any comments, clues or wild guesses welcome.

nope. Even when the fan is not blowing out the vent it still runs and changes speeds. If you lay a hand on the vent and turn the temp control is responds like it should. It still has vaccuum @ all the doors I could access easily. It really acts like an air door between the blower fan and the vents has closed and will not reopen.

Does any air come out the window defrost? If I remember correctly the door will default to defrost for safety.If still no air there I suspect the heater and evaporator core are plugged with leaves and debris..

when it quits it will not come out of any vent. The doors i can see are moving like they should. After it sets for a while it goes back to working properly. It only seems to happen after it has been drove 10-15 miles with the heat on full blast and everything has gotten good and hot. There is a white box with an electrical connector mounted on the heater box under the dash almost directly above the floor vent vac door. is it and actuator for another door? and if it is could it be getting hot and closing off?
