I am in desperate need of a climate control console for my 1976 F250 High-Boy. You know the part that controls blower speed, temperature and air dispersement. I have looked all over and cannot come up with one. I dont really want to go to the junk yard after one considering the truck is a restomod project and I dont care for any eyesores in it. Please advise, thanks in advance.
73 to 79 should be the same. I get a lot of interior parts for free, but I know the guy that owns the yard. I might help him out with something in the shop or yard and in return I get free parts.
what bout lmc,npd or macsautoparts or ebay did you try them already
ya, I tried all of the above other than macsautoparts and nothing turned up. I even called to make sure. I will try macsautoparts now and let you know.
ya kalve, no dice there either. they show having a couple cables that are part of it but nothing else. Guess im just going to have to go look out in a yard somewhere.
I have a few of them if I recall.... I believe a couple are for broncos with AC and one is out of a pickup with just heat and vents. Do you have one now thats just broke or is it missing completely from the truck? BTW... I am just a 25 min drive from you (Danvers) and have a lot of spare parts.... I just picked up two more 78's as a project so I will have many more spare parts!!
Sorry guys, I wasnt ignoring anyones response. Ive been couped up in the hospital with the woman. Our son is trying to come into this world so weve been a little preoccupied.
Ok, BigBlu78 if you are nearby Id sure like to get together sometime and maybe we could get to know one another. I do have the original climate control console in the truck at this time but yes its broken in more way than one. I guess Ill be daring and post my cell number here its 217-620-8277, feel free to give me a call and we can discuss getting together about parts.
