Installing New Muffler

I have an 86' F-250 XL, and I want to replace the stock muffler with something that has a better sound to it, so I was thinking of going with the cheap cherry bomb fix, but when I got under to replace it, I saw that the stock muffler had two inlets and only one outlet. How can I get around this problem? Would I just have to install two cherry bombs??

Get one cherry bomb and put the Y pipe before the cherry so the 2 pipes get turned in to one and you only have to buy one muffler. If you are going to buy 2 mufflers you might as well run duals.
