Good Morning Hampies. Did you get any snow? We sure did. The hot air coming out of the capital could not keep this one away. We got close to a foot near Charleston. I heard that Beckley got 2. I would say that the higher mountains got more. Winter Wonderland.
Best thing is that they are saying that we have an 80% chance for a white Christmas this year.
Sean, I agree with your signature. Also, the PC people with their Happy Holidays can stick it up their butt. It is MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR. I have already been called on the carpet for saying that. They can kiss my big old fat BUTT! Once again,

So have I..I agree this is a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year..
I gave the lady's hell at the Dr,s office the other day for saying Happy Holidays..
And then people that constantly complain about the Snow..WTH if you do not like the snow there is one thing they can do..Move to where there is no Snow and then they can be Drama free
This being politically correct just pushes me over the edge
I love the snow. There is nothing that can quite top a snow that sticks to everything and going out in the early morning hours, driving with no lights, breaking the trail even on the highway and just seeing mother nature's wonder stuck to everything. It is all white and covers up the mess we have made of our planet.
I am not really fond of the cold because it makes me hurt more than usual, but to get the snow like we just did, I will put up with the pain just to be able to enjoy it. I took Tammie out for a ride at night just after it hit. We were not gone long, but I wanted her to see it too.
As for the people that byatch about the snow or cold, move your *** down south, then you can byatch about the heat and humidity. I love the mountains, even though I was born in the Gangster Lands in the State of Chicago, but grew up in the foothills of South Carolina (Spartanburg), so I am not a hillbilly, but I do call West Virginia my home. Would I move if I could? Not really, unless I could move to Tennessee or Western North Carolina. I will die in the mountains.
I have always told my firends that when I go, I want it to be a "Two Bud Party" and I want to be cremated. As they blow my dust off of the New River Gorge Bridge, they can have a Bud in each hand, "take a toke and take a slug" and salute me as I drift away.
