Jim I know all about the 7.3s being slow. I do have a 94 e350 ambo at home with a N/A 7.3. it wont get out of its own way but it does the job very well.

are they really that bad ? they got good pulling power though right?

Same here just pondering if i should clean the truck tmw. I am not sure yet.

Hell yea they got pullin power. Other day i was pulling a converted schoolbus up a hill It weighed in at 28000 lbs.

Mine's dirty. But, it's supposed to rain & stuff tomorrow, and I'm driving it instead of the car (daughter and her BFF want a trip to the mall, so we'll be 3 chicks in a truck tomorrow afternoon )... so no need to clean it until closer to the gtg.

Yeah,
I'm just yanking your chain. With the mods you got and the weight, I bet she moves pretty good. Traction's gotta be tough with 2wd though.

And Shaun, 7.3 minus the turbo in something as heavy as an ambo. That's gotta be sllloooowwww!

I knew they had to be good for something -seems like a lot are still around-so they can't be that bad -i guess like anything else you got your likers and dislikers on everything -lot's of folks hate the 4.9 inlines I love em
