After being married 20 yrs. I know it ain't me.
Kind of a rough day here. First thing in the morning one of the dogs got run into by a deer. Lots of crying and really favoring one half of her back end and side. It didn't look too good. After a trip to the vet, which of course wasn't open in town. We have two that are here one day a week each. Wednesday is not one of those days.
She is almost 12 yrs old so unfortunately at a point you have to draw a line. We were really uncertain if she would be coming home or not. After some x rays and $400 later it turns out she has some pretty bad bruising. The vet showed us the xrays and she said one was kind of cloudy which could be some bleeding or just some fat causing it.
She is alert now and seems ok for the most part. Just a lot of crying when she tries to move.
I'm pretty sure the apple tree is living on borrowed time now.
