When i bought my new to me 06, it has 2- interstate bateries , not the oem motorcraft ones.
I have been experienceing longer crank times to start, originally 2 to 3 sec to start and now about 5 to 6 sec's. I have been reading it may be caused by weak batteries,or on there way out.
Just did oil change and fuel filters , batteries are clean and terminals are tight,truck runs strong and smooth, just trying to narrow down the longer crank time.
