99 F250 questions
Hello all , great site here.
I just purchased a 99 F250SD Ext. cab V10 and have been working a few bugs out. I havent picked up a manual yet but will soon.
This just happened today ,my gear selector is off almost to "R" when its in "P", is there an adjustment in the cable for this or is another issue ?
And last question is the light on the tow/haul does not light, the selector does work just dont light up, I did take apart the column and the wires all look ok.

Update: I just fixed the gear selector, there is a small white plastic clip for the needle adjustment that was broken, I temporarly put a ziptie on until I can order a new one.
I can still use help on the tow/haul lamp, not sure if its a replaceable lamp maybe a fuse or do I need a need gear shift lever because its non repairable ?

From: SE PA.
the button on the end of the shifter should come out and is replaceable, you would have to go to the dealer. use a small screw driver to carefully pop off the cover on the end and the button assmy should come right out.
