2004 cruise control quit working

Hey guys, I have searched the forums and can`t find an answer. I was coming home today with the cruise control on and I hit the coast button to slow down and the cruise just shut off and now it does not work. I looked in the owner`s manual and there is not a fuse listed for the cruise. Any ideas?

Have you had the steering wheel off? There HAS to be a fuse somewhere....in either the inside or underhood fuse panel.....
