I have an 86 F150, purchased a while ago. XLT Lariat, purchased for camping, towing my motorcycles, trips to Lowes, and getting out of snowbanks (my 2x4 Dodge got stuck, so she was replaced) and my Volvo sucks at all of those types of duties.
Engine has been rebuilt, and I don't remember which motor it has. What is the easy way to determine a 302 vs 351? It is a V8, but not sure which. It is a EFI.
Overall good shape, but has some mechanical items I need to fix before I take it out on road trips. And there will be questions.
easy! if the water neck from the intake is almost touching the water pump/timing cover (like 1" away from it) its a 302. if it is above the timing cover and you can easily get to the thermostat housing bolts, its a 351
