Help looking at a 72 swb
What do you guys think of this truck I might be tradeing him a 74 VW Super Beetle for it, What do i need to look for and so on.

Well, the picture of the rust in the bed looks ugly, but if that's the only rust, for the money it isn't bad. Look at the front cab mounts, inner fenders(around the hinges), core support under radiator. Those are most common spots of rot in these trucks.
Looks like a typical 3spd shifter floor mount conversion. They used to do this once the cab sagged too bad to keep the column shifter in working order. Others did it just to get it off the column(I hate column shifters myself).
It definitely won't get the fuel mileage of your Bug, but shouldn't be terrible. Sure will be MORE powerful though!!
