Headlight troubles
I recently had a hiniker plow put on my 2000 F250.
Somehow when hooking the wiring up they screwed up.
At first just my low beams did NOT work but high beams did.
Yesterday driving home from work at dusk i noticed that neither the high or low beams worked.
Yes the headlight switch is on dash lights work and the running and signal lights all work just not the headlamps.
How do I(not them) fix this.
If there are no blown fuses, then it gets more complicated, and I would start by finding all the wiring they added on and temporarily disconnecting it in an effort to get back to a stock truck with good electrical.

The people there are a storehouse of knowledge on plows, just like here with Ford Trucks. There is a Hiniker section of the forum where you can ask your question.

I think this is what happened:
When they went to hook the plow light wires into headlamps and stock truck wiring, it looks like they bent the headlamp plug wires too much and one broke.
Probably also due to age of the wire as well. Can't blame the installer for everything.
I cut the wires bought a new plug respliced them.
Works like new again!
Hell ya!
Nothing like finding the problem and fixing it for under twenty bucks by yourself. Makes the chest stick out a little farther and the chin up a little higher.
Walked in the wife said "whats wrong with it."
In a deep manly voice I said "Nothing, I fixed it!"
