Key Fobs
OK, I have a question that hopefully someone here can answer. I just picket up my new 10 F350 Lariet CC DRW truck this morning. The truck came from the factory with the vehicle start system. My issue is it has one fob to open the doors, and one to start it. This was what I was attempting to avoid as I had this with my 04 SD. On my 06 SD it had a single ford remote with start and lockso n one devise.
So....is this possible with this truck. My salesman was unsure and service was not there today. This is crazy as you would think right from the factory (ordered option) not done at the dealer it would be all in one !

from what the dealer told me, to get the single 6 button remote, it is an extra installed option on top of the remote start.
3-400 is what i was quoted.
you have to ask for the ford gold remote start which swaps out your 2 fobs for the single six button remote and module.
when i ordered my truck i specified that i wanted the single 6 button remote option, so we'll see if the dealer listened.
