If you start to experience rough idle and hesitation in about 10K -20K miles, replace the plug wires (if you didn't do so when you put in new plugs)

OEM Motorcraft wires have proven the best in the 4.2.

2004 Ford F150 XL 4.2 L problems?

I'm new to this site and I was wondering if there's any issues with this truck. I've read terrible things about spark plugs breaking, does this truck have that issue? I have a 1997 with coolant leaking into the oil and I don't want to buy something else with known problems. "Help"
