I am planning on putting after market speakers in in the spring. I have not taken the door panels off yet to even see and the back pillar. I have an 04 f-350. Does anybody know if there is any room to cut the speakers holes bigger to fit any 6x9 because I like my 3 way 450 watt kenwoods i have in my iroc and would like to have them in my truck to.

The speakers in that are 5x7's I purchased my 02 F-250 cc used 7 the stock speakers were blown. So I had the lokal speaker shop put in a set of Kenwood 3 ways (can't remember the number right now) for 227 bucks. They were a 200 watt speaker & they sounded pretty darn good.

I was thinking about running almost the same setup i have in my iroc. Instead of having a Alpine CDA-9664 I am going to get the CDA-9886 with the iroc i have one set of the the 6x9 450 Watt speakers but the truck i will have 2 sets and have the same subs i have in the iroc 2 12in alpine type s
