Well, got a bit done in the garage this weekend. Not much, but some.

Working on race car: Went to summit and got some Moroso trick springs for the front(had to mix/match and figure what to use since they don't offer any for galaxies). Also got new 90/10 shocks to replace the junk ones on the car. Got the passenger side pulled apart, old spring out, new spring wayyy too long to slip in so need to borrow compressor from buddy before I get it back together to check for ride height.

Moved on to Mack: have been working on converting speedo to electronic design instead of the old cable unit. Stripped the old gear out and worked with electronics buddy to get this system working. Got the rear tranny housing machined today and temporarily installed to check for operation. Went to install sender and found out I pulled the wires loose so it's likely junk. Called buddy and working on getting replacement.

Won't be able to work on much til near Thursday evening. Til then.........

If anyone would like a 2010 calender with only FE's in it(including MY wagon), check this out:

Thank you,for the compliment, and as most all sports it takes a lot of perseverence /skill/ and patience....and being super fast.....a few beers helps too....LOL

I and my brother have so many trophies we don't know what to do with them......My brother wants me to put them in my hotrod barn, but he needs to give them to his kids.
I am older now,and play a little....and still have a lot of pro friends.....but now really get into my old trucks and my dogs and cats.

I am going to Reynoldsville I think, will know after I get there and hope to score bigtime.
Thanks/BILL

Have to head to Illinois next week for a rust-free cab for 56 f100. It is super clean and real good price. Hope winter weather holds off till I get there and back also.

How's come all the trucking I need to do is usually in the winter and it is cold and snowy....haha!!!

Well, I went and looked at the truck over in PA this weekend. He wouldnt take any less so I had to give him $500 for it. It was just over the line near Butler. This 56 was NASTY, Has these great big Craigers on the back, straight out of 1975! I go get it sometime after Christmas.
Owner said he bought it years ago and pulled the engine (had a 383 or 440 he couldnt remember)
Another one bites the dust!

Whats old becomes new!!!!Those Cragers may make a come back.I had 8 of the rims that are popular now i cant think of the name of them there the ones that the 68 Bullitt Mustang had on it.I hated them and sold them cheap. Then the n50-15's i loved them on the Crager SS's on my 75 Elite fit good in the fenders. Also on My old 67 Fairlane just had the 60's on the back and the 70's on the front.

I saw the truck near Butler last summer.....LOL
I just got back from Blacklick with my running yblock and trans. I also got 4 original colonial white wheels and wide whites and dog dishes from a 43k Las Vegas 56 today, and a new master cylinder/original air conditioning and all the brackets, etc., and new throw out bearing and a original paint 56 tailgate. SWEEEEET!!
Nice guy and real easy to deal with....not one of those rigid types. He and I took 56 for ride and in 1 1/2 hours it was in my trailer.
Another one saved....and another one to add to my fleet.

Cragars are cool.....Love them and looked awesome on my 69 440 6pac roadrunners. Now those cars are big-bucks.......Bill

Good Morning Ohio--only 10 days till Christmas--I guess I'd better start my shopping huh?? Anyhow, yes Bill I've got Disaronno. I'll be out of town today--taking my father to Pittsburgh for a Dr. appt., but I'll be at the store the rest of the week. The forcast looks cold and snowy--may end up with a white Christmas. The first thing I did to my Nova when I got it was put Cragar SS wheels on it--still have them in the barn somewhere(I think). Got sick of polishing chrome so I put American Racing aluminums on it.

Yes I love cragars and deep dish aluminum wheels. These kids today don't know what old-school really is......the real school!!! LOL

I have to clean this engine and set in the frame, then I have 3 heaters for 56s that I am restoring and will be doing that later.
I am so stoked with my trip yesterday......what a pot of gold I found!!
Slappy....Terri will be in for the disaronna........Bill
