Help, it is not starting
I have an 85 f250 with a 460. The other day it stalled in the driveway. I checked to make sure it had gas. It cranks but the engine just doesn't turn over. I replaced the carb inlet fuel filter. It gets gas, I am confused. please help me and let me kno what other things i should check.

I just changed the spark plugs, new wires, new distributor cap and rotor. She still won't turn over. I followed the firing diagram from chiltons. I am going to have to go thru the process again to make sure all wires have been hooked up rite.

By "it doesn't turn over" you mean it isn't starting up and running, correct?
Not "turning over" implies that the motor is seized, or the starter isn't spinning, fyi. Different animal altogether than "not starting".
