oil leak
have oil leak on oil pan, not the dip stick tube o-ring, it is coming from big nut on the side of the oil pan, local dealer said to remove starter for access, take nut off carefully and not let inside piece drop in, cleaned area and used gray silcone, reassembled, leaks out of threads, found an older post with part number for fix, what about welding the whole thing together?
or taking it back apart cleaning and then apply more gray silcone and some sort of thread sealant, something about green locktight?
