I went out at noon and just got back in at 5pm. Had to replace the float on my sending unit. That is a bitch of a job. I was gonna take out the tank but then figured screw it. So I unbolted the bed and lifted it with a bottle jack. Needless to say if you notice your fuel gauge isn't working 9/10 its the float. There was hole right where the rod wraps around it. If I had a floor jack it would have been even easier.

HAPPY THANKSGIVNG TO ALL! Today I went out and washed the wife's Fusion, and then I changed the oil in my dent, and Bub (my boxer) and I went for a test run. I know I am thankful after ALL the hard work and hard earned money I put into my dent, it does run pretty good, and I am VERY thankful that after 500 miles on the rebuild I have NO leaks!! 
I guess most of you will read all of this after you wake up from your turkey induced coma.
Then it will be time for more of this!!

I went in the shop and worked on mine while family was here. I thought that was the best time. Say hi, eat, go to shop, fire up wood stove, turn on game, work on truck.

happy thanksgiving all, didn't work on my 78 today but the boy and I sent the wife and 2 daughters in the car and we made the 60 mile round trip in the truck, (gotta ride in style) This was a good thanksgiving I became a grandpa 8 days ago!!! baby never got put down but it was a good time.
