Our Excursions are probably AS fuel efficient as their Cutlass.

 

When you drive the wife's Expedition and it feels like the MGA you had in highschool.

 

You know you drive an Excursion when you can haul your family of five, a guest, and a sixty inch big screen tv.

 

...when your 6 year old son wants to drive the X to the pool because it looks so cool and the rear windows roll all the way down. Of course, his alternative is mom's minivan, which he doesn't think is un-cool...yet...but he knows the X rocks.

 

When your 4 1/2 year old son always wants to ride in it and his favorite activity while riding is to point out all the other trucks and SUV's and ask if the Excursion is bigger than them.

 

When you can drive OVER parking blocks instead of driving around the parking lot..been there done that...because you can!!!

 

When you go pick up a 3 seater couch that's being given away and the guy says "you should have brought a truck that won't fit" and you slide her in and pick up a 27" TV a couple shovels 2 ciment blocks he was also giving away and on your way home you stop and do $200 worth of groceries and you're still not full...

 

when your haulling your camper with a 6.0 diesel Excursion up a hill and your passing others, still building up speed and still in 5th gear.ha ha ha

 

When it takes all afternoon and a step ladder to wash, clay bar, polish, and wax just the roof on your vehicle, you might drive an excursion.

 

After today, I can vouch for that!

 

When you look eye to eye at the bus driver next to you and smile.

 

When you stop at "that place to eat" because there is another excursion there.

 

done that so many times and always park next to it

 

Me too, they not only see my truck, but heard it coming, and now have questions about mods

 

Last one I parked next to the couple didn't even glance when they left. Just loaded up their 6 kids and left. lol
