Northern Tool has the Hobart Handler 140 (same unit I use) Mig welder on sale Friday only for 431.99 and includes a free wheeled cart! This is a "lugable" unit (weighs about 50# and is the size of a carryon suitcase) and runs on 115V so you can plug it into any household electrical unit. It also includes everything needed to use shielding gas except the tank itself. Highly recommended!

I have had that site and that particular unit saved to my favorites for a while now. The free cart deal goes until Feb. I hope to get mine before Christmas! If you order Northern Tools catalog it comes with a $10 off coupon or they are also doing a deal where you get a gift card for certain purchase amounts. I think $500 gets you $50.
