'55 F350 widowmaker wheel replacement

In my search for replacement wheels for my '55 F350 dually the 6-lug wheels from the mid-60s F350 dump trucks appear to be a correct fit.
1. Are these wheels 6 X 7.25 pattern lugs?
2. Is the wheel center hole diameter compatible?
3. If the bolt pattern is OK but the center hole needs to be machined what is the cost and the process weaken the wheel?

TIA, Tony
1955 F350 dually dump, ~7200 lbs

Tony,

I started a thread several years ago about these wheels;

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...50-wheels.html

All you ever wanted to know, then some. The old Kelsey-Hayes number is 71320 and the new one is 79120. The ones I obtained were on a 1958 F-350.

Johnny

Pattern should be 6 on a 7.25" circle. As to the rest, if he isn't already collecting the data for you, Stu one of our resident wheel experts, should be along shortly.

Yup, the guys have it right. Except those are Budd numbers Johnny, not K-H numbers.

I see from your profile that you are in MD. That's a long way from Salt Lake City, but this truck sits in a yard there with a full set of tubeless 17.5s. If you want the contact info please say. Stu

Ford Family,

Sorry for using K-H instead of Budd for my wheel numbers. I have stamped steel K-H's on my '72 Bronco, and some of the data must have gotten mixed up in my gray matter!
