I have an '02 F250 Xcab, long wheel base that I bought new. It's not my daily driver, but it is my go-to truck when I'm hauling horses, pulling the 30' camper, or hauling equipment/lumber. I would like to add some mods to it for towing. I would like to hear some great places to start. Programmer? Intake/Exhaust? Chip?
I would start with a good set of gauges (EGT, trans temp, boost), then a 4" exhaust, turbo back. I have the MBRP SS exhaust. Do the 6637 intake mod. Then I would go for a DP-TUNER chip because that is what I have. lol. And they are the sponsors of our forum. You can do some reading of the threads and learn a lot about what is best for our engines/trucks.
I would give Clay a call, he can help you get everything you need. LINK
Thanks for the welcome and the great advice. I've been reading all the threads I can. There are so many to read. I have been to the RiffRaffDiesel site and I will give them a call.
