VIN help

I recently picked up a '77 Chatau and having some trouble with the VIN. I've tried searching for it but have come up empty. The VINs E22AHY69459. If anyone could help in decryping it, I would appreciate it.

isn't there someone out there that can decypher this vin? I'm at a loss when it comes to van VINs.

wow, ok so it has a 460 in it and not the 390. Darn thing has dual tanks on it. Thank you for the info.

They never put an FE in a van, so no 390's, and the dual tanks is a popular option, a friend has it with the 302.

anyone know the size of these tanks? I wasn't gaven a book and the hayes manual doesn't say. I did read somewhere that the rear can be an 18 or a 22 and the saddle can be a 35.
