Well one of the leaf springs on my 150, needs a new bushing, and the bolt is sheered off on the inside, so its a hair of the dog and the bolts not wanting to come out. So I was thinking, does a bushing set like this.
Will it fit in there, with the stock metal bushing (Outer shell) Still in there? Cause I may just melt the old bushing out.put those in. Need to know so I can get the money together and replace them.

You will have to remove the metal sleeves. I've hacksawed them out in the past. The bushings should work. Pretty sure I used the same bushing kit in mine. The only question is which bushing the rear spring hanger has. Is it moulded or pressed in. Mine were moulded in but brand new. So I didn't change them out.
What I do is get a heavy duty drill (NOT cordless) with a bit a little smaller than the rubber portion between the inner and outer sleeves, and drill the rubber. Do this in several locations around the bushing, eventually the drill will want to catch and runs itself all around the outside of the inner sleeve and along the inside of the outer sleeve and will actually cut the whole rubber bushing free. Then use a drift/punch and hammer it out.
I don't mess with torches or anything anymore, just grab the drill and it's usually free in a minute or 2.
Of course you need to burn the head of the bolt off and drop the spring down to do this. Hope you knew that.
Lol my springs are completely off the truck, I have to replace all 4 hangers, and the 2 shackles, and I am putting another 2 inch block on top of the factory 2 inch block to get 4 inches. So don't worry I got allt he room in the world to waller on it.
