Lifted Dually
Hey guys I'm a first time Ford owner coming from GMC. Traded in my 2500 4x4 lifted for a f 450 08. My plan is to get a 40ft fifth wheel. I would really Like to lift my 450 at least 6in if possible. Has anyone out there done that? Thanks

And to answer the users question, I would be very hesitant with that much lift with a fiver.
The stability and weight distribution will be almost dangerous.
If you plan on doing that much lift with towing that much weight, I would look into a very strong custom designed conventional drop hitch with leveling.
As for lifts for a 450 and 37's, it has definately be done. You may need to get 18 or 20" rims so you can find some 37's instead of the 19.5"s, but apart from that most other parts will work.
