Rear Door Probs
The rear door, very back doors on the rear of the vehicle, on the ex won't lock. Also you can open it and the alarm does'nt go off even when you have locked all the doors electronicly and set the alarm. In fact you
can 't even lock the door with the key.
Just checking to see if anyone has had this problem and what the solution might be.

It's a common problem.. The latches on the outboard sides of the hatch are where the locks and door ajar sensors are at.. Spray them down with a good lubricant and give them a workout to get them going again.. You can pull off the hatch interior trim and inspect the lock/latch mechanisms.. I had to do a little tweeking of the hatch mechanicals to get the key and power locks to be reliable..

Now all I have to do is find all the parts that I took off and get it all put back together. Been driving around with that rear cover off and the lock actuator off too trying to get everything working right.
