I forgot...the Bedcover is on there too!
[LEFT]what leveling kit do you recommend and what size tire and wheels should i look at getting, i do want to get the oem fender flare
also what wheels would look good on it
I'd go with a 2" auto spring leveling kit with either a 285/65/18 or 305/65/18 tire, depending on the gears in your truck and how much towing you do. The 285/65/18 will be pretty close to stock, but the 305/65/18 will decrease performance a little(especially if you have 3.55 gears). These tires will fit on your stock wheels fine, but if you want something different, anything in chrome would look good. As for wheel size, a 17" wheel will offer you more tire choices than a 18" wheel and 17" tires are a little cheaper. I would try to keep the width of the wheel under 9" or else it would stick outside the fender too much, a 285 tire on a stock wheel is level with the edge of the stock flares. If you like chrome you could put some stainless steel trim along the bottom of the truck and maybe some chrome covers for the door and tailgate handles. I'd also put a bug shield and some mudflaps on it(they look stupid, but I hate rock chips).
i do have 3.55 gears, how hard is the leveling kit to install and do you have to have any specials tools, i would like to see what the stainless trim along the bottom would look like on a truck that is the same color as mine
installing an auto spring leveling kit isn't that hard if you have some mechanical ability, and you can do it in your driveway. I hate working on things so I had my mechanic install mine. The tools you need are pretty basic , a couple of jackstands, a hammer, and some metric wrenches.Run a search on here for leveling kits and you will find all you need to know, there are some posts with detailed instuctions with pictures on how to do it.
