Check Engine light

What would cause the Check Engine light to kick on at about 5000 when accelerating. I have a High Flow Filter, JET Chip cat-less high flow Exhaust.... MSD Blaster Coil. Its a 1993 F-150 5.0 - non MAF..... AOD. Any ideas?

I know a 5.0 can goto 6k max.... but not sure of the full specs of the 93 5.0.... Power band and such. I dont do it too much. Wish I could find a 4.10 posi for it, or maybe convert to a 5 speed
