Airbag flashing code 16
Ok I have a 2004 F150. The airbag was flashing 42, I have since replaced that sensor and now its flashing code 16. I have searched everywhere and cannot find the answer to my question. Any clue as to what this code is trying to tell me.

42 is the front sensor. This is a known issue with the pins corroding. You can try to clean the pins and put some di-electric grease on them. I did this on my 04 and it worked for a couple of years. I just had the dealer charge me $300 to replace the connector and sensor. Charged me 2 hours labor to sodder 2 wires. Drove the truck home and the airbag lite is back on with the same code! Not sure what code 16 is, but I know 42 is the front sensor.
