Hi guys i was wondering if anyone knew where to find frame charts for a 1966 f100 long box. I have everything off the frame and want to make some measuerments and was wondering if there where any dimetion charts out there some where. Thanks Justin
Prolly need to check with body shop. Try X measuring first. You want both sides to be equal or close. That will show you if it is square.
I suspect the frames can flex a lot, and IMHO the biggie would make sure the axle sets are square. The rear axle being out can make the truck run somewhat sideways, because the rear wheels are trying to track the front.
The front is gonna be hard to get out of whack unless it's been wrecked.
If you can find an old crash estimating book, it may have dimensions in it. Frame repair machine manufacturers also supply them, but I don't know how easy something that old would be to get.
