Things happen. Like my adding lol. It's only a little over 3 years since the last post. If you start a new thread and give details on what exactly its doing and what all you have replaced, I'm sure we all can figure that thing out.
Ive had the same issue a few time thinking fuel stator or spark or battery connection.... bujt the thing I dont have is a heat shield on my starter. I'e found a 50 second video on YouTube from a guy stating that he fixed the issue making a home made heat shield. Even if it' freezing outside your truck is still prudocing consistent heat right next to the starter via exhaust or engine heat. Try this to see before spending a crap ton on parts
Hi all..brand new to forums, this my first one..I also have hot start problems..’88 f250 w 460 tbi and a c6. New battery, shop tune up, timing set..as HAwaiian mentioned starts fine cold, but once it gets to operating temp it’ll sit and crank and crank and crank just fine, but wont start until.I haven’t figured out what the magic touch is yet. I’ve read and talked w people and gotten everything from vapor lock to “its your starter” (starter works fine) to “its your battery” (new battery), to Egr valve to fuel filter (new) to fuel pump(s)...ideas?

Did you ever figure out the problem with hot starting? I'm having the same problem. Cranks fine. Good starter and battery. Starts in 1 second when cold. Cranks and cranks when hot.
I drove a friends truck for awhile that did what yours is doing. My solution was to start it when it was hot, was to start it in wide-open-throttle (as in pedal to the floor) and it would start better nearly every time. This didn't resolve the problem altogether but worked. He later sold the truck -- I'm not sure if he ever figured it out.

I bought a new coolant temp sensor and a new coolant temp sender. One of those two should fix the hot start problem I'm having on my truck..... I think. Found this interesting review on amazon from someone who has the same 5.0 fuel injected engine:
