I say there is no way to lower one of these trucks " on the cheap". You Are either going to have a hell of alot of time OR a hell of alot of money tied up in a matter of dropping one even a few inches.
I have stock beams under mine and it lays the rockers. But while I spent no money on springs or drop beams I have over 2 years tied up in the truck.
My point is do it or not IT WON'T BE CHEAP. EVER!!!!!

I just had a thought. and you can quote me on this one. If you want a project you can do on the cheap.....BUY A CHEVY..... But get in line. Cause everyone is doing that. Square body chevy's are more popular now than ever...And you know my thoughts on that....." If it was easy(or cheap) everyone would do it. And If you have atruck that is just going to blend in you might as well buy a Hyundai. Are they makin trucks now? lol

You can buy dropped axles for the front , summit sales them, djm sales them, pretty costly . For the back you can buy the shackle and hanger kit , or axle flip or move the stock front hanger higher . On the cheap I bought new progressive rate springs cut 3 coils and had my beams cold bent to o camber . Moved the new bumpstops (low profile aftermarket)to the frame under the axles , dropped it 4 inches , rear bought hangers and shackles and removed overload spring for 5 inches of drop . Baggin the front next . Good luck , lot of threads on this subject .

thanks ken,i knew someone could help,i can bend them beams if i can find all the tools, havent used them in a while. so cutting the springs is ok. ineed springs anyway so thats not a problem.those drop axels are pricy. times are tough. thanks again. vada
