Hooked the SEIC (orange wire) up to the # 4 AUX. Everything seemed strait forward. But it dosn't work. I have power to the orange wire when the # 4 switch is on.
Make sure your parking brake is set. Transmission must be in PARK. Foot must not be on the brake, which also means the brake switch must be operating properly.
You might also try switching over to the BCP wire, instead of SEIC.

Since I have a manual trans there is a different color wire in the bundle that I had to use. If you check through this thread it will describe what wire is needed for the high idle. Make sure the e brake switch works. Put the truck in gear with the e brake on and a dinger should go off warning you that the brake is still on.

There is no chime when you leave parking break on.
My truck does not ding when the parking brake is on and I put it in gear. I don't know where tazo got that. The older trucks do not do that. But there is a light on the message center, and his point is well taken. If the parking brake switch is bad, the PCM won't know that the brake is on. So make sure you have the RED brake indicator on the dash.
Obviously the parking brake switch and the service brake switch must be functioning properly or this might not work.
It indicates to me, under the resistor chart on page 8, that the manual transmission REQUIRES a 43K ohm resistor. The diesel engine diagram on page 10 shows that resistor going between the PTO_VREF (orange/red) and PTO_RPM (orange/yellow) wires.
Another option would be to use the Battery Charge Protect wire (purple/lt green) instead of the PTO wire (Orange).
