the only 4 inch i have ever seen me and a buddy built in vo-tech.. the biggest thing we came across was transmission , transfer case, steering linkages all had to be rebuilt to accommodate the lift.. they are not just a simple "put blocks in and go"..
you may want to check state laws too, some states have limits on the height allowable of body lifts. I believe in my state (washington) there is a 3" body lift limit, and if its similar in enough other states, you may not find anyone who makes a body lift more than that ...

of course there is 50 different sets of state laws to follow, you could always see if you can find 1 state w/o that restriction and just simply move there so you can have your body lift be legal
There is a reason why there is a 3 inch limit. I don't like body lifts. They're too poser for me and they aren't the safest thing in the world. If I can't talk you out of a body lift, at least listen to me when I say USE SUFFICIENT HARDWARE. High Strength Grade 8 bolts. You don't want the damn thing blowing apart because of a weak bolt and have some chunks come flying out and killing somebody.
yeah, I personally would rather go with suspension lift anyway. I actually had just gotten the money and was about to do it when I started college, so that should keep the lift off the truck and the money in the tuition bank for the next couple years ...
Nobody makes a bodylift bigger than a 3". I have seen homemade 4+" bodylifts... not only were they extremely unsafe they looked absolutely ridiculus. Think about in a front or rear collision, how much more leverage is on those 4 little bolts holding the cab in place. I have heard of cabs shifting and even separating from the frame because of too much bodylift and the poor engineering that went into it. Now there is nothing completely wrong with a bodylift IMO, if you need just a little more tire clearance and don't want to trim fenders out. I personally wouldn't want to go bigger than a 2" on my truck.
