I can't enjoy this warm weather. Stuck at work and when I get home it is getting dark and cool out. Rats. Cold weekend.
Still few more things to get done. Got the starter changed in Escort, Pain in the butt area too. Oil changes done to vehicles for winter. Need to finish clearing a space to park Bobcat in shop. Finish work around my backdoor. Fix floor of doghouse It has a hole in it. So they won't be so cold laying in there this winter.
Have to check and maybe change U-joints on my 86 truck. Have to change Tie-rod on Taurus and get a wheelalignment. It also needs a new battery. Make a new cover for the A/C unit on the house. It is drafty around the unit.
Then it is off to put up Christmas lights on the outside.
I also need to pull a steering colunm that I sold to go to Edmonton.
This cool weather just makes things a bit slower getting done. Just makes me not want to go outside.

i'm enjoying it... although, i'm one of the few that will enjoy winter when it comes too. the trick is to keep busy through the winter. it seems to fly that way. just remember, each day we save on this end, likely won't get tacked on at the other end...

Well I'm looking at it this way, at least winter is about a month shorter already! At least comparing it to last year.

I love winter. For us, its a bit more relaxed than summer. Tend to cows, work in the shop, and do some of the managerial aspect of what we do.
Sledding season is coming!!!
As I get older, the coldest days annoy me more; however, things like heated shops and garages are a blessing. As well, the clothing thats available makes things much more bearable.
We have a feeding system set up that starting and running equipment on the coldest of days is minimal, the biggest concern is water issues. Some good preventive maintenance goes a long way in the form of heat tapes, bulbs, insulation, etc. However, schit happens!!! When it does, we now take the time to properly tent the area and use some heat source - we refuse to do the kind of repair outside that we once did.

What an awesome day outside today!

Considering this is the end of november, i dont think anyone should be complaining about the weather we have had so far!
