Fuel delivery problem?
allright i have a 2005 f-250 extended cab 6.0 with 206,000 miles i am trying to sell right now, anyway the other day i went out to start it and warm it up, it started and sounded fine went in the house for about 15 min came out and it was idling low and sounded really doggy, i jumped inside and if i would put the pedal to the floor it would rev up really slowly no response at all and no power, i did not drive it, i thought maybe it was from the fuel gelling up, but it only got down to maybe 25 degrees, I put some diesel 911 in did not change anything, figured maybe the fuel filters, i changed them out, the diesel fuel was not gelly at all, it wasn't the problem i started it up again the next day and it would do the same thing, then today i tried to start it and it would try for a second and die. Could it be the fuel pump is shot? or injectors? i have no idea.
i hope somebody has had a similar situation or knows what could be the problem I was just gonna have a guy look at it and then this happens
