Hey I have swapped an 86 4.9 out for a 90' 4.9... I have switched over the wiring harness from the 86 onto my 90 motor and it seemes to work well... but the one problem is that i have a bunch of vacuum lines that i have no idear where they hook up to... i dont have a belt, or fan, or rad hooked up either, and Ive had it running a few times, for a couple seconds each time... and it revvs really high, i figure thats cause its getting so much air from the open vacuum lines... does anyone have ANYTHING that will help? a diagram maybe? and also I have a set of dynomax headers on my truck, and i am not putting a cat on my truck, but i would like to know what kind of muffler i should put on due to straight pipes being WAY too loud for sure.. and how can i make true dual straights on an 86 with 4x4... on the left header the front drive shaft seems to be in the way somewhat.. then the cross memeber doesnt have alot of room for the pipe... should i just take it to a shop and get it done? I really dont want to spend ****ing 700 bucks though.
