Anything placed over an air filter will create some type of restriction, but in my opinion, it's minimal and well worth the cost. It's amazing how much dirt that pre-filter will hold. I have not heard of anyone having any sort of air restriction issues using the cover.
As for fit, I would have to say superb. I've bought covers for 3 different types of filters and all have fit like a glove.
I've had my Petes cover for a little less than a year now I think and Chris is right. That thing will hold a lot of dirt. Washes up easily. I have the blue one which Pete said was a higher flow material and I love it! Don't notice any air restriction at all. Definitely worth it!
I have run my filter with and without Pete's hi-flo cover and didn't really notice any effects as far as restriction. I feel the cover is more like an added layer of protection....and looks great, too!
Ha! Wow, this thread is almost as bad as some crotch rocket forums I go to.
I am planning on ordering either the ford equivalent BFAH(washable but I can't remember the brand right now) and a 6637 w/ a cover for each, or two 6637's and two covers.
I do know that after harvest my truck will have asthma if it doesn't already.
Don't forget, if your filter isn't list in his web-site, he can customize one for you filter application. He built me a cover for my S-B filter cause I wanted the extra protection and looks, like said by Chris, like a glove fit.

Can't take the credit on these, BDrummonds told me about them. If you do alot of miles like he does then you can end up saving $$ over the 6637 with this set up. But you have to drive alot, otherwise the 6637 is much easier.
