axle code plz
i purchased an 88 f250, with a 460, can anyone tell me what the door tag for the trans code "k" is? and axle code c5....i searched quickly no love

Axle code C5 is a 4.10 Limit Slip.
If it's an automatic, it's a C6.
Manual would be a ZF S5-42 5 speed overdrive.
This info is from the Chiltons manual.

ty gents for the help..knew it was a c6 but the numbers webpage i looked at didnt have trans code k for an 88, wierd
