2002 Ford V10 runs perfect until recently as the weather dropped in the a.m to approx 30 degrees. Now when you attempt to start the engine it is flat dead, yet all electrical is excellent..once the weather warms, it starts no problem.
Not sure if you're describing the same problem, but I had something like this last winter. The truck would act like the battery was dead, when it wasn't. The battery definitely had the amperage to crank it over. I don't know if the Fords have a voltage cut-off, but when I hooked up a running car to jump it, she fired right up (not the slow chug-chug that you usually get from a dead battery jump). Only happened a couple times.
