Tansmission Update
Hello to everyone that helped with my decision in how to proceed with my transmission blowing on me. Only four days after purchasing my f350 second gear went on it requiring a rebuild. This was a few months back and had to save up some money and decide where to go. Im in South East Michigan about 30 min north of Detroit. A few friends recommended Mike Hallas who does performance work out of Romeo. Took the truck to him and am now back on the road with rebuilt tranny which included additional clutch plates internally, tranny cooler from a V-10 with with circ valve removed, and torque converter from V-10. Truck is running great and am really happy with it. Mike is reasonably priced and does good work but requires a little patience on time frames because he is pretty swamped with work and holds business hours during evenings. Thanks again for the advice, I'm sure it not the last of it I'm going to need.
