hpop

hello im new here and working on a 7.3 but i really do not much about diesels . i have changed the hpop tryed to crank it with no luck ive removed the plug on top of the hpop hosusing pourd oil in it acts like theirs air in the housing it bubbles up? ive checked the fule canster its full while spinning it over you can push the bleeder in no air just fule any in put will be appreciated

It may take some cranking to fill the lines back up with oil especiall if they were drained. Try to keep cranking and verify there is no leak.

Verify all wires are connected in the valley and at the valve covers also. GP relay too.

Welcome. Make sure the HPOP is full, up to about a 1/4 inch from the plug on the top. And just crank crank crank!

man Ive been cranking for 2 days now still no luck going to put old pump on tomorrow that's what i get for buying used parts should have spent the $ 700.00 instead of $203.00

Why did you change the HPOP in the first place?

oil was pouring out of back of pump where snap ring is located
