Exclamation Please help wont start 7.3

The motor turns over, but won't start. I have looked at the motor, but I am not very knowlageable about diesels, and can't seem to get it running. The following items have been replaced, or changed: Fuel filter, Camshft position sensor, glow plug relay, oil, and filter, return pressure regulator, and 2 batteries. The fuel pump is supplying the fuel to the motor at the correct pressure @ the fuel filter/water seperator assembly, the Turbo spins freely, and there is no sign of any water contamination in the intake air flow area, motor, or in the oil. I hooked a scanner up to the truck, and the code was: "P0603, Internal CNTRL Module KAM Error". There are NO other codes displayed on the scanner. it had water damage but dont look like it made it to the engine

You may want to try posting this in the 7.3 forum. You will get more help there I'm willing to bet.

Welcome to FTE. What are you using to pull codes? A regular OBDII scanner will not pick up engine codes from the 7.3. How much water was there? Lot's of electrical stuff on these motors now a days. If you don't have a good scanner, I'd say you'll either need to invest in one or pay someone to run some tests. The AE works well if you have a laptop.

Depending on the water level, I'd be worried about the IDM. As mentioned, check out our 7.3 diesel section. Give us as much info as possible, and try and be a little patient. Sometimes it takes a while to get a response.
