Hey all, SuperBronco FINALLY rolled out of the shop under its' own power! Next steps are the wiring, gauges (debating on a custom dash), roll cage and final bodywork and paint. The L&L headers really sound sweet. Really gets me excited about getting it finished before the summer's over. I've posted a link to a .mpg file of the first test drive on my FTE site. CAUTION:severe belt squealing in the audio, I've since got those new belts retightened.
I've never been a fan of divorced t-cases but I have never thought about doing it for the purpose of being able to use the same driveshaft front and rear. Cool idea.
I have been thinking about stretching the wheel base of my 73 bronco in order to fit a second t-case or crawler box and while I'm at it I might work it out so I can have same length driveshafts like your setup. Could come in handy on the trail.
New ideas are always refreshing.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-Jul-02 AT 09:32 PM (EST)]Thanks for the compliments! If you look at the new pics in the driveline section, you'll see that by dropping the t-case, I ended up with some very u-joint friendly driveline angles that should add to my trail reliability as well. Eventually I'm going to set up the rear shaft with a 1330 cv set-up like the front. That'll make the spare identical to either front or rear shafts.
Wow, great truck! I'd make it as factory as possible with the dash. More eye-catching to something that Ford never made. I saw somewhere there was an 79 four door Bronco, not too customized and I drooled at it!
Thanks Ken It's starting to come together a lot quicker now! I got the wiring almost finished, got the windshield in and the bucket seat mounts built this weekend. Reall fighting the itch to rush it and put her on the road before I'm completely finished.
