Dim Lights Until Accelerator Depressed

Dim Lights Until Accelerator Depressed
I never noticed this until yesterday morning. I started the truck and let it idle for a minute. I turned on the lights and they seemed dim. Then we started to move and things got bright like normal. Is this normal? Weak alternator?

That is what I am thinking.Dodges will do the same thing when you first crank them.

Ok cool. I probably haven't paid attention to this before yesterday.
The battery terminals are very clean. A few months ago I brushed them all clean with a wire brush and applied a thin coating of dielectric grease on them. I did the same to the terminal clamps. Works great.
