The return line kits I have found on ebay dont look right to me. I need the late model 7.3 kit but the ones I have seen dont seem to have the correct injector fittings. They all have 8 two legged caps 4 straight through and 4 90 degree. Mine has 2 three legged caps that join the left and right bank. I cant find them at rockauto either which would have been good as I need to order glowplugs at the same time and didnt want to pay two lots of freight. Any suggestions.
Midwest quoted me $44 for the kit and $224 freight. Do these caps tend to break when you remove them or can I just put in new orings and reuse them. I am only replacing them because I am going to do glowplugs and have read that I can cause air leaks from the movement. I just wanted to have the parts here ready. Could I get the kit from ebay and reuse just the original three way caps?
We only have one kind of diesel over here and I dont know if it is ulsd. Other than bio. I would suggest that if it is considered the right way to go then that is what the gov would mandate.
Why do the new kits do away with the three ways and how do you link the two sides without them.
