New guy from Alberta

Hi guys, thought I'd post up some introductory pics. I just upgraded from a 1992 F-150 Custom to a 2002 F-150 4x4 with the 4.6. Pretty pleased with the new winter truck, quite an upgrade from my old one! 79K miles on the odometer, its a US truck.

I hope to purchase a newer truck here in a year or so. Just bought a new car hauler. So will need a newer truck to tow hat with. Just have to pay loan first then get new loan for hopefully a diesel.
Thinking of hauling cars as a retirement thing. I can take early retirement in just over a year. It is something I like to do and see some country.

Nice. I like the look of the regular cab stepside trucks. Plus, good on you for getting the manual.
Pretty crappy that you can't get those on new trucks anymore . . . .

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah, I only drive manual, not sure how to operate one of those automatic vehicles. I heard Ford wasn't offering a stick shift anymore in the F-150, I was hoping that was just a nasty rumour. Not sure what I'll do for my next truck then, I guess this is as new as I can buy.
