4wd selector indicators not working

4wd selector indicators not working
97 EB 5.4L, the light is in when selector is in AWD, but don't light up when in 4H or 4L. Don't have owner's manual, could there be a fuse blown, or a bulb out? Or is this a bigger problem?

4WD low will not go in unless you are stopped with vehicle in Neutral. 4WD high should go in when traveling up to 55 MPH. If you need a manual go to www.myford.com. Ther you can register your vin # and get a manual in Adobe Acrobat form. it is easily copied to disc,That way when you need it ,just pop in the disc and look up what you need. They also have audio manuals, 4x4 manuals for the vehicle. The site will also let you keep up with service schedules and recall info!
