1991 Van EEC Code #98
Hey Guys,
My new 91 Club has had an off n on engine light since purchase. I had a friend run a scan today, and I got this message on his Snap On OBDI tester
#98 DTC Present (FMEM) EPC Circuit Fault

I looked that code up by a google search. Where is this Electronic Pressure Controler located? got pics? I am 200 miles from home, returning today, so I do not have my manual with me...

The EPC Solenoid is controlled buy the PCM Computer if it is a Gas van.
I am guessing you do have a gas van.
I am not sure where the PCM Computer is located in a 91 van.
1992-1995 it is just on the right side of center in the dash.
1988 is under the heater on the passenger side.
The EPC solenoid is located in the bottom of the transmission.
Not sure what you want a photo of.
